Home Sweet Home?

My daughter came home last week from college. With her came her whole dormroom/suite. Is it just me… when did dorm rooms become a small apartment? A dorm room is suppose to be this small, cramped, dingy place. It was designed with parents in mind. The more uncomfortable and unappealing the less time they would want to stay in college… and the less we spend on college.
Her “dorm room” had a washer and dryer, kitchen with dishwasher a small living room. Her dorm room was better equipped than the first apartment my wife and I moved into.
Next year she moves back into the same building… but on the third floor… That should be fun..
